Provide support to the Albert Lea manufacturing facility in a IT, project continuous improvement and administrative capacities. The role will provide project manager support to projects and initiatives at the Albert Lea site including projects related to production, capability and capacity enhancement and quality improvement. The position will also take an active role in continuous improvement initiatives onsite. The position will also be an IT liaison with the site and assisting with IT needs as required and providing basic desktop level support. In addition to the above, the position will provide general operations, quality and office administrative help as needed.
•Take an active leadership role in assigned projects and initiatives related to production, warehousing, shipping, IT, HR and accounting.
•Ensure that projects are on schedule and budget to a final conclusion.
•Work in a cross functional environmental taking a leadership role in specific projects.
•Work on and/or lead on assigned continuous improvement projects.
•Develop and maintain a catalog of process flow diagrams that capture end -to-end business processes and opportunities for improvement.
•Facilitate and lead the implementation of new or changed processes and work methods to improve efficiencies for assigned projects.
•Collaborate with team members to have a good understanding of key operations and quality processes to provide assistance as needed.
•Have an understanding of the administrative office tasks and provide support as needed to assist with the overall running of the office.
•Performs other duties as appropriate and assigned.
•Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
•Provide basic onsite IT support for desktop, printers, and network as assigned by IT.
•Work with IT management to ensure that all integration initiatives stay within scope.
•Assist in designing, implementing, and testing IT system enhancements.
Skills and Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
•Understanding and experience in human resource and IT processes and projects.
•Basic understanding of quality processes along with process manufacturing processes.
•Solid understanding of project management techniques along with requisite experience.
•Solid understanding of continuous improvement concepts.
•Ability to instruct and guide all levels of employees and skill levels.
•Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and requests.
•Highest level of honesty and integrity.
•Motivated, team player that can also work independently.
